- Conrtributed

The Long Day's Night Music Festival is back from June 22-25.

Celebrate the longest days of the year with the Long Day's Night Music Festival, June 22-25 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan presented by Blenders Events.

Enjoy four nights of diverse Canadian music under the big top tent.

The weekend features some of Canada's best artists, starting Thursday night with Arcana Kings.

Previously performing at the festival as The Johnny McCuaig Band they take a page from AC/DC, Danko Jones, Foo Fighters and Steve Miller, complete with bagpipes!

Red Deer, Alberta's Harehound will get the crowd going on Friday night with synth-rock boogie sounds.

Also Alberta-based, electro-folk-pop trio, The Royal Foundry will close out the night with their “danceable, multi-dimensional soundscapes.”

The band first played the Blenders concert series in 2018 and has only gained momentum since.

Pop powerhouse and rising star, Begonia will take the stage Saturday night after Edmonton artist Robin Cisek brings her introspective alt-pop energy.

Begonia's third studio album, Powder Blue, released earlier this year, has been topping charts across the country.

Rounding out this incredible weekend will be the wry and soft-hearted sounds of Alberta-born Americana singer-songwriter, Mariel Buckley on Sunday evening.

Along with festival-goers, Buckley will be serenading the festival's volunteers, as they receive a free ticket for their efforts over the weekend.

Along with amazing talent, the festival features libations from Swift Current's Black Bridge Brewery and Buffalo Brew Pub and tasty treats from 3K's Kitchen.

After the party, get home safe with the free SGI shuttle.

Festival passes are on sale now for $120 as well as individual night tickets at longdaysnight.ca or inperson at Pharmasave in Swift Current.

The Long Day's Night Music Festival runs in conjunction with the SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival.

Don't miss the Long Day's Night Music Festival, June 22nd to 25th, under the prairie skies in Swift Current.
