On Sunday, Nov. 12th, the Eagles Hall in Swift Current was filled with supporters of Living Hope Ranch (L.H.R.) for their “A Bold Plan for Bold Dreams Fundraising Dinner”. They had travelled from Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat, Consul, Shaunavon, Maple Creek, and many more communities in between. The supporters gathered to hear the greatly anticipated reopening announcement for the Ranch.

Living Hope Ranch is a 12 month, faith based on-site program for female teens, 13-17, who are struggling with life-controlling issues. It is located near Cypress Hills and offers a structured environment that fosters personal growth and prepares residents for success in their relationships and careers.

The ranch opened in January 2020 but due to the Pandemic has remained close since March 2020.

The evening featured a delicious roast beef dinner catered by Charlotte’s Catering from Moose Jaw and live music from talented Luc Johner of the Johner Brothers entertained the crowd throughout the evening. Several local businesses from Swift Current and Shaunavon donated gift baskets for be given away, with the grand prize being 2 VIP tickets to the Hunter Brothers concert! Doug Steele, Member of Legislative Assembly for the Cypress Hills Constituency and Jeremy Patzer, Member of Parliament for the Cypress Hills - Grassland Constituency brought their greetings and support of L.H.R. The guest speaker, Gillian Rosenberg, brought a powerful and challenging message before board member and Founder, Kristen Hunter shared with the supporters the plan to reopen the ranch in September of 2024! It was a successful night and exceeded our expectation for moving us toward our goal of financial stability.

On behalf of the board members of Living Hope Ranch we would like to thank all our supporters and donors over the years and look forward to offering hope and healing to the struggling teen girls who come to Living Hope Ranch.
