- Contribution

The Southwest Facility Foundation officially launched in April of 2023 with a fundraising goal of $8,000,000 (8 million) to help support the construction of new sports, leisure, and recreational facilities in Swift Current. The Southwest Facility Foundation is excited to continue to announce commitments to the campaign.

We are pleased to announce that RBC Dominion Securities Inc. has come on board with a commitment of $130,000 over five (5) years.

“On behalf of the advisory teams of Keith Johnston, Fraser Kochan, Kevin Patenaude, Sandra Wik, and myself, we are fortunate to have clients that support our local branch of RBC Dominion Securities and place their trust in us. As local professionals the statement, ‘To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required’ really resonates with us and therefore we make this commitment with a tremendous amount of gratitude knowing how much this project will benefit families in the entire Southwest,” said Jerrod Schafer, a Portfolio Manager with RBC Dominion Securities in Swift Current.

“It is inspiring to see another longstanding business in our community get behind this project and make a commitment as a group to this cause. We are thankful to the RBC Dominion Securities team for their leadership and support. We’re happy to report that this contribution brings our total raised to $561,500 in just a short amount of time”, shared Foundation Director Travis Cuthbert.
