February 22-Medicine Hat

Deer Oh Deer! A nature walk through Police Point Park to learn more about one of our most commonly spotted city-dwelling critters. Attached are the media release and poster for the event. Join us at the Nature Centre from 10 to 11am on February 22nd for a scenic walk where we’ll learn about the deer that live in our area, and how Hatters can foster a more respectful connection with urban wildlife. Photography is welcome! This event is free to attend but slots are limited so please call the Nature Line at (403) 5296225 to register. This walk will briefly venture off the main trails, so please bring warm and sturdy outdoor footwear. We may encounter uneven terrain, deep snow, or icy patches.
