Beer gardens will be available at the Community Complex from 2 p.m. to midnight and the Centennial Dinner will also start there at 5:30 pm., with a short commemorative program to follow. From 7-10 p.m., there will be a street dance at King Street and Centennial Park complete with s’mores and fire pits for public enjoyment.

A fireworks display will also be part of Nobleford’s Centennial celebrations. The fireworks will be provided by Fireworks Spectaculars Canada and will start at 11 p.m. at the Complex Soccer Fields.

On Sunday, August 12, Scabby Butte Hiking Tours, with the first tour meeting at the museum at 8:45 a.m., will start at 9 a.m. The celebrations will conclude at 2 p.m. with a multi-denominational, community church service at the Community Complex.

“The centennial celebrations will solely have been the result of hard work and dedication of the Centennial Society volunteers and other volunteers from supporting community groups,” Lee Moltzahn of the Centennial Society said. “We hope it will be popular with the townspeople!”
