Claresholm Business Conference coming to two venues Sept. 21-22

The first annual Claresholm Business Conference will take place on September 21-22 at the Claresholm Community Center and Willow Creek Composite High School in Claresholm

It is offered in partnershi­p between the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Developmen­t Department of the Town of Claresholm.

Tickets for the event went on sale August 1 and to attend the full conference will cost $75, the price drops to $70 if the attendee is a member of the Claresholm Chamber of Commerce.

To only attend Friday evening, will cost $25, only $20 if the attendee is a Chamber member.

Friday evening’s portion of the conference kicks off at 6 p.m. with cash bar and appetizers.

At 7 p.m., keynote speaker Doug Griffiths, author of the best-seller book 13 Ways to Kill Your Community and also the president of 13 ways Inc., takes the stage.

The conference continues on Saturday, September 22 at Willow Creek Composite High with informatio­n sessions available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
