Prairie Post (West Edition) - - Front Page -

Dakota Mattson, left, and Ryan Barfuss share a chuckle during an icebreaker activity at a Palliser Regional Schools' Induction and Mentorship session for firsttime teachers. The idea behind the program – which included meeting the Board of Trustees and senior administration – is to set up those staff for success in the coming year. Teachers in Palliser officially begin preparations Aug. 27 with the first day of class Sept. 4.

Palliser Regional Schools Superintendent Dave Driscoll recently welcomed a group of nine, firstyear teachers to the division's Induction and Mentorship Program. They learned about routines and procedures and practical strategies for the classroom.
