September 8 — Iron Springs
Iron Springs 7th Annual Parade and Barbecue takes place along Highway 25 between Picture Butte and Turin. Events begin at 4 p.m.; parade lineup 3:30-4:p.m.; parade 6 p.m.; barbecue 7 p.m.; fireworks (if no fire ban in effect) 9:30 p.m. Cost: All free except a $5/person cost for the barbecue supper. Events: bouncy castle, horseshoes, tug-of-war, bonfires (if no fire ban) and a homemade pie baking contest (prizes). Come and join the fun. Put an entry in the parade. Make a homemade pie.
