Music and Magic Show - Monday, October 22, featuring the magician Lawrence the Magnificen­t with a warm-up show featuring music with the Morphis family. Blackfoot Protocols. Hosted by the Galt Museum. It goes Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at Galt Museum & Archives. Learn about the different protocols in the Blackfoot culture. October 26 — Nanton

The 2018 Poppy Campaign will commence in Nanton on October 26. A ceremony of Remembranc­e will be held at the Nanton Cenotaph adjacent to the Bomber Command Museum of Canada, commencing at approximat­ely 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, November 11 followed by a ceremony in the main hall of the Nanton Community Centre. All residents are invited to attend.

Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (1037 McLachlin Drive) will be hosting Spooky Town...after Dark starting with the "Witching Hour" starting at 6:30 p.m. $20 advance tickets. No minors. The Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (1037 McLachlin Drive) will be having "Halloween in the Village." It goes from 1-6 p.m. Free admission and hot chocolate, Haunted Alley through Jeerers Creepers Haunted Corner - courtesy Matthew Hilton High; the Family Center Halloween activity; pioneer VIllage trick or Treating. Sponsored by local business. Concession: hot food available for purchase. Come in costume, bring candy bags.

November 3 — Coalhurst

The Miners Day’s Historical Associatio­n of Coalhurst will hold its annual Christmas Craft Sale Nov. 3 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Coalhurst Community Centre, 527 50 Ave. There will be 50 tables of vendors along with a concession.
