Picture Butte RCMP investigate fatal collision

On Saturday Oct. 6, at approximately 9 a.m. Picture Butte RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 25 east of Iron Springs.

Picture Butte Emergency services and EMS attended the scene and pronounced a 48 year old local woman deceased on scene.

The deceased was the lone occupant of the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved. RCMP believe the collision occurred between the hours of midnight and 9 a.m.

The name of the deceased will not be released.

The collision is still under investigation.
