RCMP need public help with various theft cases

Coaldale and Picture Butte RCMP are investigat­ing a series of thefts from storage areas over the past few weeks.

In particular recreation­al vehicles and trailers stored over the winter months. These thefts are from all over the respective detachment areas.

Owners of these types of recreation­al vehicles and trailers are encouraged not to store high value items within their vehicles, if at all possible.

Random items are being taken and in some cases damages done to the property .

Owners are reminded to check periodical­ly on their property.

The public is encouraged to report to their local RCMP detachment if any suspicious activity is observed at our area storage locations.

* Theft of Skid Steer case near Stirling unsolved

On September 20, 2018 Raymond/Magrath RCMP received a complaint of a theft of a skid Steer from a constructi­on site just north of the Transfer Station outside of Stirling.

The skid steer is described as a 2016 Case TR270 Compact Track Load, orange and yellow in colour.
