COALHURST SHOW DID GO ON

- Palliser Schools photo

Coalhurst Elementary School’s collaboration with Trickster Theatre resulted in a drama production which literally had them turning away patrons at the door. The play, which had a theme of ‘Empowering Children for Positive Change,’ was the result of a week-long Trickster residency program. Staff and all 280 students in the Palliser school worked with the theatre company to come up with a script, work in the appropriate props, and act out a high-energy show before family and friends. Coalhurst Elementary School would like to thank family and community members for their understanding as lastminute, crowd-capacity regulations brought on by COVID-19 meant many of them could not attend. A live stream feed was provided to allow as many as possible to enjoy the hard work and talents of these young elementary students.
