Empress Theatre-Fort Macleod
The Empress Theatre is closed effective March 17. All near term scheduled events at the Empress have been postponed for the time being. Please know that tickets to postponed events will be honours once shows are rescheduled. Thank you for your patience. This will take time as we gather information from touring artists and continue to follow the Alberta government restrictions.

Claresholm Community Centre Fundraising Dinner & Concert Claresholm Community Centre. Join us to hear the music of Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, and Elvis from 17 year old entertainer Jaedyn Pilon! All money raised goes to the renovation of the washrooms and entry of the Claresholm Community Centre! Goes 5:30-11 p.m.

Lethbridge Rock N’ Gem Show takes place Exhibition Park Lethbridge, 3401 Parkside Drive South. There are thousands of kilograms of rocks and gems. This educational event is family friendly and free admission. Thursday, April 30, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Friday, May 1, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.'; Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sunday, May 3, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Spring Artisan & Gift Expo goes at exhibition Park Main Pavilion from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Come out to the Exhibition Park to shop crafts from local artists and enjoy great food.

Commemorating 75th Anniversary of Operation MANNA a food gathering event hosted by Bomber Command Museum of Canada goes from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. HELP US FILL THE LANCASTER with non-perishable food items. Starting in April, they will gather non-perishable food items until May 9th and then present it all to the Veterans Food Bank. The day has the Lancaster Engine Runs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; cake at Noon; Main Hangar Presentations 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. (12:30 p.m. - Special presentation- 1 p.m. - Dr. Stéphane Guevremont, historian). Food Concession: High River Hospital Auxiliary in North Hangar.

2020 Grand Opening Ceremony is hosted by Claresholm & District Museum from noon-3 p.m. The Museum is at 5126 1st Street West (Hwy 2 N). Join them for the launch of the 2020 season.
June 13-Lethbridge
2020 Nature Play Day hosted by the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. Free activities such as kayaking or parkour, live music, crafts and food trucks. It goes from noon to 4 p.m. Helen Schuler Centre is at Henderson Lake Park, 2727 Parkside Dr. S.

A presentation at the Helen Schuler Centre about Rattlesnakes at Writing on Stone Provincial Park on Friday 7:30-8:30 p.m. Learn all about the only snake species in Alberta considered potentially dangerous to humans: rattlesnakes. Join Naturalist Ken Moore to find out about their lives, their needs, their lifestyle, and how to protect yourself from this valuable member of our environment.
