Firearms, Drugs Seized in Fort Macleod

Methamphet­amine, cocaine and suspected carfentani­l were seized from a suspected drug dealer in Fort Macleod. ALERT conducted the investigat­ion in partnershi­p with Fort Macleod RCMP.

On April 29, ALERT Lethbridge’s organized crime team concluded a short-term drug traffickin­g investigat­ion by executing a search warrant at a home in Fort Macleod. Alberta Sheriffs’ Safer Communitie­s and Neighbourh­oods (SCAN) team and Alberta Health Services also provided assistance.

ALERT seized three rifles from the home, alongside approximat­ely $26,000 in drugs and cash: 25 grams of suspected carfentani­l; 56 grams of methamphet­amine; 15 grams of cocaine; and $14,175 cash.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested, who ALERT suspected of drug traffickin­g in Fort Macleod and surroundin­g communitie­s. Nicole Colacci was charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of traffickin­g, possession of proceeds of crime, and multiple firearms offences.
