BACKYARD BBQ COMPETITIO­N: second-ever Backyard BBQ Competitio­n was last held in 2019. This year it goes in Confederat­ion Park with an 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Competitor check-in; 12:00 PM - all competitor­s must be set up; 1:00 PM - DJ starts music; 1:00 - 5:00 PM - Bouncy castle, Taber Public Library games, and face painters; 3:00 - 7:00 PM - Live music starts; 4:00 - 7:00 PM (or until we sell out) - $5 pulled pork dinner (all proceeds go towards Taber Charity Auction); 4:00 PM - Ribs ready for judging; 5:30 PM Awards; 8:00 PM - Wrap-up. This will be a licensed event. Liquor sales will take place on the grounds. No outside liquor permitted.
