Volunteers needed at Cardston, Milk River and Raymond health centre

Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds but have one thing in common: a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives and healthcare experiences of patients, residents, clients and their families.

Alberta Health Services is the provincial health authority responsible for planning and delivering health supports and services for more than four million adults and children living in Alberta. Its mission is to provide a patient-focused, quality health system that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans.

• Raymond Health Centre is seeking volunteers who are available during the day for various positions to work with patients as well as residents in long-term care.

Helpers are required to assist with singalongs, to play musical instruments for entertainment, and to provide pet therapy.

• Milk River Health Centre is seeking volunteers who are available during the day for various positions to work with patients as well as residents in long-term care.

Helpers are required to assist with singalongs; to play musical instruments for entertainment; to provide pet therapy; and to apply nail polish.

• Cardston Health Centre is seeking volunteers who are available during the day for various positions to work with patients as well as residents in long-term care. Helpers are required to assist people at mealtimes; to help with seasonal decorating; to provide musical entertainment playing instruments and helping with singalongs; to provide pet therapy; and to apply nail polish.
