Noticeable water taste issues in Vauxhall

Residents of Vauxhall and the surrounding area may have noticed a difference in the odour and taste of their drinking water.

It is important to note that the current situation does not represent a health hazard. The Vauxhall and District Regional Water Services Commission wants to assure residents the water is safe for consumption and meets all safety standards set out by Alberta Environment and Parks.

The Vauxhall Water Treatment Plant and its operators are working hard to resolve the problem as soon as possible by applying appropriate treatment to improve drinking water.

The Town asked for patience and thanked for cooperation as the problem was predicted to persist for several days until the circulating water is renewed.
