Andrew Alm

Andrew Alm was born April 22, 1924 and lived in Iron Springs. He joined the 39th Battery Royal Canadian Artillery in Sept. ’41 in Lethbridge, Alberta. He arrived in England in 1942, served with 3rd Medium Royal Canadian Artillery in Europe January 1944. He was wounded in Holland in 1945. In 1951, he joined the 29th Brigade, under the United Nations, served in South Korea from 1951-1953 as a member of the 2nd Canadian Horse Artillery.
