Edward Marcus “Ted” Brave Rock

He enlisted in the army in 1939 where he was sent to Shiloh, Man. for his commando training. From there he embarked for Halifax NS. Overseas to England in 1940. He was stationed at London. He was promoted to Lance Corporal and served under the Lanark and Renfrew Regiment (Scottish Regiment). Ted fought in many battles and took part in the liberation of Rome. Roles in the military included being an MP. Ted was injured in a shell shock and became hospitaliz­ed. He sailed from Liverpool back to Canada on October 22, 1943.
