Richard West Smith

Hometown: Hill Spring. Signalman Smith served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. Enlisted in 1940 and served for four years. He served in U.K., Italy, Mediterranean and northwest Europe. He received 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence medal and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
