Eileen Ker­naghan lives in New West­min­ster, BC. She is the au­thor of nine his­tor­i­cal fan­tasy nov­els and a three-time win­ner of the Aurora Award for Cana­dian spec­u­la­tive fic­tion. Her lat­est novel, (Thistledown Press, 2014) is set in 1914 In­dia. An as­so­ci­ated novel,

(2008) was short­listed for the 2009 Sun­burst Award for Cana­dian Lit­er­a­ture of the Fan­tas­tic, while

(2004) was short­listed for the Sheila Egoff Award for Chil­dren’s Lit­er­a­ture. As well, her short sto­ries and po­ems have ap­peared in many North Amer­i­can lit­er­ary and spec­u­la­tive pub­li­ca­tions.
