A sweet birthday for Swift
When Taylor Swift turned 23, on Thursday, her latest boyfriend Harry Styles, of the British Boy Band One Direction, gave her 23 cupcakes.
No, really. I read about it in the Warrington Guardian, the paper in his British hometown, which the two are visiting.
Harry had somebody call The Custom Cupcake Company there, and place a special order, including some cupcakes filled with candy floss and some with mint liqueur. Maybe he thinks she needs fattening up.
(I’m starting to wonder about Swift. She’s broken up with about 72 guys already, and every time it’s been his fault, to judge by her lyrics. Her new single, just out on video, is called I Knew You Were Trouble. OK, with Conor Kennedy it was his family’s fault, but it’s never hers. I wonder how long this relationship, which was made in PR heaven, will last.)
