Seger postpones Saskatoon concert
It’s been a tough week for Bob Seger and his legion of fans in Western Canada.
After postponing shows in Calgary and Edmonton earlier this week, the rock and roll legend postponed Saturday’s show scheduled for Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre.
A posting on Seger’s Facebook page Friday afternoon announced the Saskatoon show has been rescheduled for May 9. No reason was given for the postponement. The postponement was later confirmed by Live Nation, the event promoter.
Fans unable to attend the rescheduled date may obtain a refund at their original point of purchase or by mailing their tickets to the CUC box office.
Those returning tickets by mail must include full contact information of the original ticket purchaser and the Ticketmaster confirmation number, if available.
Refunds will be available beginning April 2 until April 12.
The March 19 show at Calgary’s Saddledome was postponed due to the 67-year-old Seger feeling under the weather. The show has been rescheduled for Monday.
Thursday’s concert at Edmonton’s Rexall Place was postponed, according to a media release from Seger, because of “extreme weather conditions.” The show has been rescheduled for May 11.
Seger, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, has sold 50 million albums worldwide and has 18 Top 20 singles to his credit.
