Charlie’s little angels are his priority post-breakup
To the surprise of nobody, good-time Charlie Sheen and his fiancee, retired porn star Brett (Scotty) Rossi, have cancelled their engagement.
What is surprising is the reason Sheen gave in their mutual statement. There had been stories about her dismay at his continued tomcatting around, but now he says “Scotty and I had a great year together ... she’s a terrific gal, but we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways” because “I’ve decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now.”
With three different women, Sheen has a total of five known kids, the oldest 30 and the youngest five-yearold twins. Olivia, Swift tweeted, “is now a cat actress.” Now it can be told: After enduring decades of mockery over his ever-present sunglasses, St. Bono now tells the Telegraph he doesn’t wear them just for fun. BBC interviewer Graham Norton asked the other day if the saint (born Paul David Hewson) ever removes his shades. His answer: “This is a good place to explain to people that I’ve had glaucoma for the last 20 years.”
It’s an ailment that makes you sensitive to light and can lead to blindness if not managed properly. But St. Bono said “I have good treatments and I am going to be fine.”
He also revealed a little streak of what may be selfmockery: “You’re not going to get this out of your head now and you will be saying ‘ah, poor old blind Bono.’”

Breakup, then baby: Jude Law broke up with singer Catherine Harding, but he left something behind besides an old Alfie DVD: She’s expecting a baby next spring. Harding, who warbles under the name Cat Cavelli, is said to be “delighted.”
“Whilst they are no longer in a relationship,” Law’s PR person told People mag, “they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child.”
Jude has four other kids: three with Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 18, Rudy, 12, and Iris, 13 — and one with Samantha Burke — Sophia, five.
Law’s 41. Harding’s 23. Famous crush: Selena Gomez says she has long had a crush on Billy Crudup, with whom she appears in this new movie Rudderless.
She first got enthusiastic about the actor, she told Jimmy Kimmel the other night, when she saw his movie Almost Famous. That must have been a few years after the movie came out in 2000, because then she was just eight years old.
“The crush is over now that you’ve got to know him?” Kimmel asked.
“Um, no, what are you saying?” Gomez answered. “No, no, he’s a great guy. He’s completely awesome. We had the best time.”
She’s 22. He’s 46.
