Armstrong looks for reduced ban
Lance Armstrong will be given an opportunity to plead for a reduction in his lifetime ban, reports London’s Daily Telegraph. Brian Cookson, the president of the UCI, the sport’s world governing body, said Monday that he had been asked to broker a meeting between the disgraced American and the United States Anti-Doping Agency in the wake of cycling’s independent report into doping.
