Revenge is served up on Reign
The TV universe is constantly expanding, and new channels and shows vie for attention just as much as old favourites. Here are the best bets on the box.
Reign
Francis (Toby Regbo) isn’t happy about the prospect of receiving personal news regarding Mary and Conde (Adelaide Kane, Sean Teale) in the new episode Tasting Revenge. Kenna (Caitlin Stasey) jeopardizes her marriage to Bash (Torrance Coombs) through her plotting. Greer’s (Celina Sinden) new choice of career upsets Leith (Jonathan Keltz). (WGN, WPIX, CTV Two)
The Slap
Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) continues to play with fire in the new episode Connie, as his secret relationship with that younger character (Makenzie Leigh) moves along — giving her ideas of how it eventually will transform her entire life. Circumstances lead her to tell him she loves him, which turns out to be the catalyst for events she didn’t expect. (NBC)
Scandal
How does an outsider know so much about what’s going on inside the White House? That’s what perplexes David Rosen (Joshua Malina) in the new episode The Testimony of Diego Munoz, and the information potentially could mean the end of Fitz’s (Tony Goldwyn) presidency. It also could have a drastic effect on Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) firm. (ABC, City)
The Blacklist
All of Liz’s (Megan Boone) secrets may come out into the open — including her past captivity of Tom (Ryan Eggold) — when she becomes a murder suspect in the new episode The Major. Among the matters probed is her connection to Red (James Spader), who asks Cooper and Ressler (Harry Lennix, Diego Klattenhoff) to help him keep Liz from being sent to prison by locating a relevant person from his past. (NBC, Global)
Allegiance
Natalie (Margarita Levieva) goes rogue on a Black Dagger-related hunt that she hopes Victor (Morgan Spector) won’t discover, in the new episode Liars and Thieves. Sam and Alex (Kenneth Choi, Gavin Stenhouse) attempt a potentially dangerous sting. The situations collide when Alex tries to help Katya (Hope Davis) and ends up in the sights of Victor. Robert John Burke guest stars. (NBC)
Mom
David Krumholtz (NUMB3RS) plays the new man in Violet’s (Sadie Calvano) life in the new episode Raw Cookie Dough and a Misshapen Head. His character seems a bit old to be her boyfriend, which concerns Christy and Bonnie (Anna Faris, Allison Janney), but they aren’t quite sure how to approach the subject with her. (CBS, City)
