Firefighters battle noon-hour garage blaze

Regina Fire and Protective Services responded to a garage fire on Rendek Crescent on Friday just before noon where they found the detached garage fully involved. There were no vehicles inside but there were two propane tanks which Deputy Fire Chief Layne Jackson said did not create an issue. The fire was extinguished after about 40 minutes. The cause has not been determined nor has a damage estimate.
