Q What are temporary portable food stations?

A You will see tables with linens on them, that sort of thing. There will be one food trailer inside the stadium, but the others will be temporary stands.

Q Where in the stadium will the food stations be located?

A They will be located on the concourse. We have eight stations throughout the building. They won’t be hard to find.

Q What brought the decision to serve food in this manner?

A The food and beverage portion of the stadium is not complete. We always planned on doing that after completion. We don’t need the food and beverage portion until May, but we needed some services, so we thought about some stuff on the concourse and having some things for people to eat and drink.

Q Are the vendors there on Saturday the same ones who will be at game days in 2017?

A I hope so. That has not been set in stone yet. We are still working through contracts and if this will work. It will hopefully be set in stone by the first quarter of 2017.

Q Will there be ATMs on hand for customers?

A Absolutely there will be. There will be six throughout the building. I encourage people to come hungry and thirsty. Just bring your debit card and we will do the rest. If people could bring cash, though, that is more convenient. We will have someone there to make sure the debit machines are full. We are trying to get it as close to a normal guest experience as we can.

Q What do you hope people get out of this test run?

A I hope they get the chance to see our food and beverage vision. I hope they like it. I hope they approve some of our selection. These will be only partial menus of what they will be serving. We want the food and beverages to be a new and exciting experience.

Q Will you be talking to those who come to the test event to see what they thought of the food options?

A I will be walking the concourse and some of the people on my team will work to get as much info as they can. The city is doing some exit surveying and we will touch base with vendors to see what they thought. I get the feeling that everyone has something to say about the stadium, with all the excitement surrounding it.

Q What changes could we see next year with the food options?

A This doesn’t represent the whole group. This only represents a portion of the group that may potentially be in the stadium. By the time we open, some of the vendors may decide it’s not for them. It is a different atmosphere from running a restaurant. I don’t know what will happen for opening day. It could be the exact people or a different lineup.
