MAKE IT A MINOT GETAWAY! Black Friday bash

-

It’s not painted black, but the Dakota Square Mall is ready for Black Friday and holiday shopping.

The early birds will definitely get the sales, as the deals start early on Black Friday, Nov. 24, at the mall, beginning at 6 a.m. In addition to the many sales, there are also numerous activities throughout the mall to make Black Friday even more exciting.

There will be hourly giveaways, as DJ’s pump out the music and give away prizes every hour from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enter to win these hourly prizes at Black Friday Headquarters (Center Court).

Then there’s Black Friday with your Bestie: Visit Black Friday Headquarters between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. and enter to win a $250 shopping spree for you and a $250 shop-ping spree for your best friend.

Drop in to the selfie station at Black Friday Headquarters. Get creative with the props and snap a photo. Share the fun by uploading your pictures using# Make Black Friday Yours!

For more Black Friday fun, the Street Team will roam the mall to hand out fun stuff and key information on all the best deals.

Originally built in 1980, the mall recently underwent work to make it even better. Conveniently located close to many Minot attractions, the mall is an event in itself. In addition to the more than 80 stores and vendors, the mall is also very shopperfriendly, with numerous guest services available.

“Canadians are a very large part of our business and very much welcomed,” says Chuck Massey, the Mall general manager. “We love to see those Saskatchewan and Manitoba [licence] plates in our parking lot. We very much appreciate it and they are a very important part of our overall market area.”

With its wide range of stores and services, and all the extra specials and events for Black Friday and plans for even more to celebrate the holiday season, the Dakota Square Mall sparkles with a whole lot of that Minot magic.
