Two-game Mem Cup pack go­ing on sale

The host or­ga­niz­ing com­mit­tee for the 2018 Me­mo­rial Cup has re­leased two-game ticket pack­ages for the up­com­ing CHL championship tour­na­ment, which runs May 18-27 in Regina.

The ini­tial ticket launch to the gen­eral pub­lic oc­curred on Jan. 30, fea­tur­ing full eight-game pack­ages. The two-game packs in­clude three round-robin op­tions ($186 with taxes and fees in­cluded) along with an op­tion for the semi­fi­nal and fi­nal ($274).

“Th­ese new ticket pack­ages present an out­stand­ing op­por­tu­nity for hockey fans to pur­chase mul­ti­ple seats and get in on the ac­tion,” com­mit­tee chair Shaun Sem­ple said in a me­dia re­lease. “Since each of the round-robin level pack­ages gives pur­chasers the op­por­tu­nity to see all four teams in ac­tion, it couldn’t be eas­ier to en­joy a slice of the best ju­nior hockey in the world.”

Two-game pack­ages go on sale Satur­day.

Zachary Ed­wards was the goal scorer as Scot­land de­feated Pak­istan 1-0 in un­der-23 boys ac­tion at the WCP Cup soc­cer tour­na­ment Thurs­day.

In the other Day 1 games, Mal­lory Outer­bridge had two goals for Ger­many in its 3-3 tie with Scot­land in women’s ac­tion, and Canada and Laos played to a 2-2 draw in a men’s match.
