Cannabis patients not being consulted

-

More raids on cannabis dispensaries leads to medical crises — leaving patients without other options to obtain their medicine.

Unfortunately the government has not consulted with any of theses businesses, nor the people who use these services. Time and time again cannabis patients are ignored and made out to be second-class citizens due to the simple fact that they take control over their health and choose cannabis as their medicine and use the services that suit them best.

These people are being pushed aside to make way for recreational use. Only people with large amounts of money and very little cannabis knowledge are the ones the government consults with.

The true culprits are the politicians and police who are playing with people’s health and ultimately their lives.

This is proof of corporate greed over human need.

Police are always telling patients that there are legal ways to obtain their medicine but they fail to understand these means fail patients in so many ways.

Saskatchewan politicians are so consumed with reefer madness that they cannot see that some people use this as a legitimate medicine. It is a travesty that cannabis patients’ lives are being toyed with all because of money and greed.

Medical cannabis dispensaries are needed in this province as they provide a service that takes public health and safety seriously. My question is: When is this government going to actually listen and consult with the little people who are actually knowledgeable within the cannabis community while they are putting lives at risk?
