The White City Garden Club meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Emerald Park Ramada Hotel. The topic is vertical gardening with climbers and vines with Gwen Bokmayer. Admission costs $5 for visitors.
Heritage United Church, 1050 N. Arnason Street, is holding its 29th annual Fall Supper on Oct. 13, with sittings at 5 or 6:30 p.m. Admission costs $20 for adults, $10 for kids aged 4-10, or a donation for those under four years.
