On Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m., the Luther Bach Choir presents a Best of the Baroque Con­cert Se­ries per­for­mance en­ti­tled And on Earth, Peace: Mu­sic for Re­mem­brance Day. It takes place in the Rex Sch­nei­der Au­di­to­rium (sec­ond floor) at Luther Col­lege at the Univer­sity of Regina. The con­cert fea­tures guest in­stru­men­tal­ists, and choral mu­sic by J. S. Bach, Gabriel Faure, and oth­ers. There is no ad­mis­sion charge. A free-will of­fer­ing will be col­lected.

Se­nior Power will hold a meet­ing at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Cathe­dral Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre, 2900-13th Ave. Guest speaker is Kathy Waite of the Cana­dian As­so­ci­a­tion of Re­tired Peo­ple (CARP).

The Prairie Artists Guild’s Christ­mas Art Show and Sale will be held on Nov. 15, 16 and 17 at the Was­cana Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­tre, 2180 23rd Ave., Thurs­day 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fri­day 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (meet the artists 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Sat­ur­day 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free ad­mis­sion.

Regina vol­un­teers of Save the Chil­dren Canada are hold­ing their 27th an­nual beef sup­per on Nov. 17 at St. James the Apos­tle Angli­can Church, 1105 Em­press St. at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $25 for adults, $5 for chil­dren six to 12 and no cost for chil­dren five and un­der.
