-

Amazing Adventures is excited to celebrate 30 years of business in Regina.

The largest gymnastics facility in the province, Amazing Adventures provides high quality gymnastics instruction to all levels of athletes. Programs are designed to fit the need and skill level of every child, from walking to all ages.

“We believe that gymnastics is a core sport that helps to mold many developmental areas within a child’s life,” says Devlin Williams, director of Amazing Adventures.

Participating in gymnastics helps to build new friendships and teaches a child how to be social and interact with the coach and other friends in class, says Williams.

Conditioning and practicing skills help to build courage, confidence, and develop many physical aspects and motor skills, such as strength, flexibility, speed, endurance, agility, balance, coordination, power, and artistry. Joining in a class also allows the child to practice a consistent routine, as well as learn how to follow the group as a whole, wait their turn accordingly, and learn how to trust and control their body in order to move forward with skills and progressions.

Students also acquire many life skills through gymnastics instruction. There are various different social, mental, behavioural, and physical aspects of gymnastics that can be applied to school, sports and other disciplines. The child’s overall health and development is also shaped in a positive and proactive environment. Gymnastics is a fun, interactive, and challenging way to show children that hard work and dedication pays off!

“Our programs are taught by our trained and certified coaches, and there are many options to choose from within our Recreational Gymnastics Program, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Program, Trampoline and Tumbling Program, or the Cheer program,” says Williams.

Depending on the age and program, children will have ample opportunity to try many different stations and events, such as the circuits, bars, beams, rope, trampolines, foam pit, and much more! With Kinesthetic, Auditory, and Visual learning and demonstration, the Amazing coaches do their best to guarantee that your child learns in the most successful way possible. “Whichever program you choose, we are ready to have fun and work with your child to ensure that we have found the right fit for you!” says Williams.
