Good Samaritans to the rescue

Regina Leader-Post - - OPINION -

Good Samaritans, thank you.

On Tuesday afternoon, two events restored my faith in the general goodness of people.

First, my heart went cold, literally, as I was facing a walk with no mitts in -30, when I realized I had left them on the paper dispenser in the Safeway bathroom at the beginning of my shopping trip. But a Good Samaritan had found them and brought them to customer service. So thank you whoever you are!

And then on Cameron Street, another Good Samaritan had left a container of free treats of tea and chocolate along with doggie treats for passersby to help themselves to.

What a way to spread joy all around! These two acts of kindness did warm up my heart! Thank you, kind strangers!!
