Garnet Street and Cameron Street, where police found an injured man on the sidewalk. Police later confirmed Isaiah Terrel Akachuk, 21, died; a 24-year-old man was charged

Sena Debia powers her way through a cherry pie on her way to becoming a four-time champion of the pie-eating contest hosted by the University of Regina’s Mathematic­s and Statistics department. Held in the Research and Innovation Centre atrium, the event was part of Pi day, which celebrates the mathematic­al symbol. Debia finished her pie in two minutes and 13 seconds.
University security officer Aaron Davis, despite a strong effort,
could not match Debia’s speed.
