4OUR is an original theatre production that combines acrobatics and mime and a wonderful, imaginativ­e story. Created and performed by University of Regina theatre students, it runs Thursday through Saturday, March 5-7, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the U of R Riddell Centre Shu-box Theatre. Tight Five open mic comedy, for women and nonbinary comedians, is happening at The Cure on Thursday, March 5 at

8 p.m.

PRISM Improv is back with its third Dungeons and Dragons show. That’s Thursday, March 5, 8 p.m. at Creative City Centre. Admission is on a sliding scale, $5 to $15.

Tanika Charles is described as a modern soul powerhouse. The Toronto-based, Juno-nominated, Polaris-shortliste­d singer-songwriter is bringing her funky sound to The Artesian on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 at artesianon­13th.ca.

Le Winston Band from Montreal mixes Cajun, zydeco and francophon­e music with rock. They perform Friday, 7 p.m. at The Exchange. Tickets are $25.

The Saskatchew­an Writers Guild’s annual Talking Fresh begins Friday, 4 p.m. It starts with a panel discussion about courage with Rita Bouvier,

Manitoba country musician Desiree Dorion will play O’hanlon’s on Friday at 11 p.m. She’s been widely commended for her songwritin­g and musiciansh­ip, and sounds a bit like all those super-talented ’90s women country musicians.

There’s an all-night jam at Broadway’s Lounge on Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.

Regina rock bands Small City Blues, Magnetic, Ragged Edge, and The Deaf Idols play at The Exchange on Saturday, 7:30 p.m. $20 in advance at theexchang­elive.ca or $25 at the door.

Saskmusic is celebratin­g Internatio­nal Women’s Day with concerts across the province. In Regina, Eileen Laverty, Shantaia, Last Birds, Bex and Annora will perform. That’s Saturday, 7 p.m. at The Artesian. Tickets are $15 for adults through artesianon­13th.ca, supporting the Regina Sexual Assault Centre.

There’s an all-female-dj’d silent disco to celebrate Internatio­nal Women’s Day at The Cure on Saturday, 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include a free drink. There will be visual artists and vendors, in addition to music from RY RY, Miss Sulevis, CAKEBABY and Thugshells.

Telemiracl­e provides non-stop entertainm­ent (while fundraisin­g for a good cause) from Saturday, 9 p.m., until Sunday, 5 p.m. Some of the big names this year include Andrea Menard, The Good Brothers, Jeffery Straker, Toque, and Brad Johner and the Johner Boys. It’s free to attend the events live at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.

Girls Rock Regina’s adult camp is this weekend, and this year’s bands will perform an all-ages show on Sunday, 8 p.m. at The Exchange.

It’s Monday Night Jazz & Blues at Bushwakker, and veteran Regina act ’Round Midnight performs, 8 p.m.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story tours to Regina’s Conexus Arts Centre on Tuesday, March 10, 7:30 p.m. Find tickets at conexusart­scentre.ca.

The Alley Dawgs play classic country covers at the Fat Badger every Tuesday, 9:30 p.m.

The Globe Theatre’s mainstage production I Call Myself Princess is a play by Jani Lauzon, featuring opera singer Marion Newman. “When William, a modern-day Métis music student is handed the 1918 real-life opera Shanewis: The Robin Woman about Creek/cherokee Mezzo Soprano Tsianina Redfeather, he learns more than just an aria as he begins to unravel the complex circumstan­ces faced by Indigenous performers past and present.” For tickets and more informatio­n, visit globetheat­relive.com. The Slocan Ramblers will be playing folk and bluegrass music at The Artesian on Wednesday, March 11, 8 p.m. The Juno-nominated band has a reputation for energetic live shows and impeccable musiciansh­ip. Tickets are $20 at artesianon­13th.ca.

It’s Wednesday Folk Night at Bushwakker, and Sun Zoom Sparx will perform their mix of rock, funk, jazz fusion and psychedeli­a, peppered with monster riffs, Krautrock grooves, mid-’70s ambience and left-field curveballs. That’s at 8 p.m.

The Human Condition comedy tour features Scott Belford, Adam Mac and Scott Porteous. Their standup show is raising money for the Hospitals of Regina Foundation. They perform Wednesday, March 11, 8 p.m. at The Cure. Tickets are $20 through eventbrite.ca.
