YEARS IN BUSINESS 26 years

OWNERS Cheryl Morantz, Sam Agelopoulos, Tom Agelopoulos

The doors to Centre Street Deli opened in 1988, but this family run business has roots tracing all the way to Montreal circa 1946, where a previous generation started up the renowned Snowdon Deli. With a passion for Deli the Morantz and Agelopoulos families were able to bring their distinctive brand to Toronto and now, 25 years later, Centre Street Deli is a staple in the Thornhill community. While boasting an all-around delicious menu, Centre Street Deli prizes their always hand-cut Montreal smoked meat along with their fresh cut fries to be their signature dish. With a variety of salads and omelettes for non-meat eaters, party platters and desserts they have something for everyone in big groups or small! In their 25 years of business, Centre Street Deli has experienced generations of families growing up within the doors of their bright and lively deli. Wanting nothing but the best for their community, they pride themselves on the consistency of their quality and service. Centre Street Deli has been awarded placement on Joanne Kates' 2014 Top 100 Restaurants in Toronto, and would like to thank their loyal clientele for making this possible!
