Three men arrested for Thornhill car thefts

Richmond Hill Post - - News -

Two stolen vehicles have been recovered by York Regional Police ( YRP). The two sedans were stolen from the same driveway at a home in the area of Bathurst Street and Rutherford Avenue.

YRP responded to a call March 3, at 8:45 a.m., after the two cars were snatched. They had been left unattended while warming up. The thieves did not have key access to the vehicles.

The three males suspects, two from Mississauga and one from Brampton, were arrested and have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime and one count of obstruct peace officer. YRP advises residents not to leave their unoccupied cars running as it is a ready-made opportunity for theft to occur.
