We all scream for Japanese ice cream

Richmond Hill Post - - Food -

Moji Japanese Eatery has been the talk of the 905 since parading onto the foodscape. Inside the winsome space, witness enthused foodies scarf back Japanese classics like tako wasabi, chicken karaage and ramen (think spicy broth with slices of pork cheek, black fungus and bamboo shoots). But most of all, we’re about the photo- and stomach-friendly soft-serve ice cream. Cur- rently, black milk tea and matcha flavours are in rotation, the latter made using powder brought in from Shizuoka, Japan. Our fave treat features a swirl of milk tea soft-serve topped with caramel popcorn, whipped cream and caramel sauce. Oreo crumbs and rose petals are also sprinkled on this fanciful creation. KAWAII FACTOR Each of Moji’s ice cream creations is finished with a Pocky flagpole.
