May the horse be with you

Trot on over to Woodbine Racetrack on May 26 for Greenwood Stakes — dubbed the most stylish event of the summer. It’s smack dab between the royal wedding and the Queen’s Plate, so yeah, it’s going to be a bit of a British frenzy here in T.O. Apart from the dapper duds and bottles of bubbly, there will, of course, be some thoroughbred horse racing alongside live jazz and funk bands and some culinary treats. Not to mention a wine garden, champagne sabering station (we’re not kidding) and a vintage photo booth. Essentially, it’s everything a Toronto socialite loves come summer, including period costumes. Tickets start at $75, but since Post City is a media sponsor, you can enter to win lunch and admission prize packs at postctests. Entry deadline is May 15.

WINNING TICKET The event started in Vancouver 10 years ago and has now spread to T.O.
