Dig into Toronto’s largest tour of private gardens

Richmond Hill Post - - Homes -

There’s something exciting happening in our backyards (literally!). On June 9 and 10, garden-goers can embark on a tour of 19 residential outdoor spaces north of Lawrence Avenue and west of Leslie Street. Green thumbs can peruse the pretty petals and stroll the scenic ’hood with map in hand provided by host Toronto Botanical Garden for this self-guided tour. Fret not, for al- though you will be tour guideless, there will be master gardeners from the TBG stationed at each location to answer questions and chat your ear off about all the design features. And when your toes get tired and the temps get hot, feel free to grab a gourmet Ice Pop from Augie’s along the route and use the shuttle bus to make it to those last few gardens before the day is done.
