The vegan franchise Cinnaholic opened its first Canadian location on Aug. 10 inside the Promenade mall. The shop specializes in cinnamon rolls, each one customizable, with a wide range of icing flavours and toppings available. Bistro has opened a location in Vaughan, serving custom-crafted pies with a variety of dietary options, including gluten-friendly dough and vegan cheese. With almost 20 veggie toppings and nine meat options, this restaurant gives customers a unique take on pizza. Carbon has announced a new location opening at Hillcrest Mall. This local brand was founded in North Toronto in 2009 and has one store in Lawrence Park. With this new location opening up in Richmond Hill, the store offers a wide selection of men’s and ladies’ fashion and accessories. Appliance Studio Gallery offers brand name kitchen and laundry appliances for all price ranges. Chinese retailer Miniso continues to expand in the GTA with a new location at the Promenade mall. Basically an Asian dollar store with impeccable branding, the it offers products ranging from health and beauty to electronics, home decor and more.
