Lawrence Park School (LPS) has been of­fer­ing a stim­u­lat­ing ed­u­ca­tional en­vi­ron­ment to North Toronto fam­i­lies since 1982. It is a fun and friendly place for chil­dren to learn and grow un­der the guid­ance of car­ing, highly qual­i­fied child­hood ed­u­ca­tors. LPS is li­censed and care­fully struc­tured to care for chil­dren from 18 months to 6 years of age. LPS pro­vides a va­ri­ety of ac­tiv­i­ties and ar­eas that cul­ti­vate ef­fec­tive lan­guage, lis­ten­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, cre­ative think­ing, prob­lem solv­ing and fine and gross mo­tor skills. Se­quenc­ing and pat­tern­ing games and other fun and ed­u­ca­tional ac­tiv­i­ties help build a solid foun­da­tion for emerg­ing lit­er­acy and nu­mer­acy. All pro­grams of­fer French, cre­ative art, mu­sic, drama, and gym to round out the chil­dren's day. LPS fo­cuses on pre­par­ing chil­dren for their en­trance into both pub­lic or pri­vate schools and build­ing their con­fi­dence to suc­ceed in any set­ting. Op­tional hot lunch and af­ter­noon pro­grams avail­able.
