On Satur­day June 10, 2017 Maxim Truck & Trailer par­tic­i­pated in the Chal­lenge for Life 20 KM walk for char­ity in Winnipeg with 90 walk­ers and vol­un­teers. The Maxim team raised over $200,000 as a group led by the com­pany’s CEO Doug Har­vey who was the event’s top fund raiser and also par­tic­i­pated in the 20 KM walk.

The event, now in its 10th year, Cancer Care Man­i­toba’s “Chal­lenge for Life” raised a com­bined to­tal of $1,090,786 in this year’s cam­paign.

Maxim has been a long-time sup­porter of many char­i­ties in­clud­ing those fund­ing com­mu­nity or­ga­ni­za­tions, the arts, am­a­teur sports and health.

“I’m proud of the staff, cus­tomers, sup­pli­ers and friends who con­tin­u­ally sup­port and par­tic­i­pate in ac­tiv­i­ties that give back to our com­mu­nity,” says Doug Har­vey. “Giv­ing back is part of our cul­ture at Maxim.”

Maxim Truck & Trailer has 17 branch of­fices and over 600 em­ploy­ees in 11 cities from Van­cou­ver to Mon­treal. Maxim Truck & Trailer ca­pa­bil­i­ties in­clude the sale, ren­tal, leas­ing, and com­plete af­ter-sales ser­vice of new and used heavy duty trucks and trail­ers.
