Polar plunge rings in New Year
Kalabe Arsenault, right, the youngest dipper in this year’s Dorchester Lions Club Polar Dip, is joined by Mike Elward. Veteran dipper Andy Partridge celebrates having completed his 25th annual plunge in Dorchester. Partridge doubledipped to celebrate the occasion. This dipper gave in to the crowd’s demands after completing his icy plunge and decided to make a snow angel to top off the celebration. Dorchester Volunteer Fire Department members Sara Boyce and Jacques Poirier both double-dipped as part of this year’s Dorchester Lions Club Polar Dip. This dipper’s facial expression says it all about how cold the water was during the 2019 Dorchester Lions Club Polar Dip.
