I’M A MAN, MAN

-

German biathlete Erik Lesser struggled during the 20-km event this week, but ended up winning silver. Why? Apparently, because he’s a man ... or more importantly, because he’s not a woman. “The first two shots were OK but I felt my knees shaking after that. I was close to stopping, but only girls do that. I am a man, I told myself that I can’t do that.” And that may have eliminated his female fan base, if not for his subsequent talk about his grandfather, who was also an Olympian. “My grandpa is a hero to me. He never won an individual medal so he probably is as happy as a schnitzel.”
