BELATED LETTER

Every Friday as I am reading Doug Cuthand’s column on the op-ed page, I think I should write to say how much I appreciate that weekly column and how glad I am to see it at the top of the forum page so regularly.

I always learn something from it and appreciate his perspective on and insight into aboriginal affairs in this city, province and country.

Finally I am writing that letter!

I agree with him completely about the need for a national public inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women, and hope that the overdue outcry that is spreading across the country will have some effect on the federal government. Jenni Mortin Saskatoon
