I believe the SP is on to something when it depicts dilapidated streets. How about an ongoing series of just pictures highlighting the many other visual embarrassments — alleys, streets with potholes and utility repair sinkholes, dandelion parks, filthy boulevards, litter, wasted tax resources, etc.?

Perhaps you could make it a contest. Hopefully we can embarrass our mayor, council and ever-growing administration into some much needed action rather than the usual blather about Saskatoon Shining.

After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. A beautiful city like Saskatoon doesn’t deserve this neglect and apathy from our socalled leaders. John Rooney Saskatoon
