Fogerty remembers 1969 in November

-

On Friday, Nov. 21 at Credit Union Centre, John Fogerty performs the songs of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Fogerty’s coast-to-coast Canadian tour kicks off in St. John’s, celebrating the year 1969 when Fogerty wrote and produced three landmark albums with Creedence Clearwater Revival: Bayou Country, Green River and Willy and the Poor Boys. The songs included such perennial favourites as Born on the Bayou, Bad Moon Rising, Down on the Corner and Fortunate Son.

After the band ended in 1972, Fogerty went solo with songs like The Old Man Down The Road, Rock And Roll Girls and Centrefield. His latest release, Wrote a Song for Everyone, came out in 2013.

Tickets go on sale May 23 at ticketmaster.ca and 306-938-7800. They cost $20, $49.50 and $74.50 plus service charges.
